I HOPE WE NEVER FORGET

Today is September 11th. It is hard to believe that it has been 7 years since that terrible day. The debate over our response to the attack on our homeland has become so political Lost in that debate so often is gratitude for the brave men and women who have fought for you and I and protected our homeland. They are the real heroes. In my ward there is such a hero. This hero just left for Iraq leaving behind a wife and 5 children (including a new born). I salute him and all of the brave men and women who put it all on the line for our freedom and the opportunity to worship as we please. I Hope We Never Forget!

I'll never forget that day. Alan was home and I was so thankful for that. He had to go to work the next day and I hated that. I worried all day. How does Justin like being a firefighter?
